Operations Associate
About Us:
Daisy is building the future of living. As a full-stack, AI-native property management company for HOAs, co-ops, and condos, we're modernizing one of real estate's largest and most fragmented industries. By combining technology with exceptional service, we deliver greater transparency for boards, more efficient operations, and a better resident experience.
In just a few years, we've become the 8th largest property management company in NYC, expanded across the tri-state area, and now manage over 5,000 units and $200M+ in building budgets.
Backed by strong growth and recent financing, we're entering our next chapter of growth as we expand Daisy's AI-powered operating model nationwide.
Overview:
As an Operations Associate, you'll own the day-to-day execution of Daisy's transfers function — unit sales, leases, renewals, alterations, and due diligence requests across our portfolio of condos, co-ops, and HOAs.
You'll work closely with our offshore transfers team: keeping the queue moving, checking work for accuracy, and stepping in when something is stuck. You'll also be a key point of contact for residents, brokers, attorneys, and boards, making sure every file is complete, on time, and handled professionally.
Success is measured by on-time completion, accurate documents, and smooth closings and move-ins. This is a fast-paced, high-volume, detail-heavy role — ideal for someone organized and proactive who wants to grow into a leadership role in real estate operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage the daily transfers pipeline: Review incoming and in-progress requests for sales, leases, renewals, alterations, and due diligence; prioritize work based on deadlines and urgency, assign tasks to the offshore team, and track each file through completion to ensure nothing falls behind.
- Review the team's work before it goes out — applications, board packages, questionnaires, and closing documents — for completeness and accuracy.
- Coordinate sales, leases, and renewals end-to-end, from application through board decision to closing or move-in.
- Respond to due diligence requests and questionnaires from attorneys and lenders accurately and on time.
- Track application fees, move-in deposits, and other transfer-related payments, and flag anything missing or out of place.
- Coordinate move-ins and move-outs with building staff and the facilities team.
- Communicate clearly with residents, brokers, attorneys, and boards — keep everyone informed and escalate issues early.
- Keep the team aligned across time zones with clear handoffs, daily check-ins, and organized notes.
- Spot recurring problems or confusing steps, suggest fixes, and help keep SOPs and checklists up to date.
What You Bring:
- 1–3 years of experience in real estate, property management, transaction coordination, or operations.
- Familiarity with NYC co-op/condo sales or leasing is a plus — not required. We'll train you.
- Exceptional attention to detail. You notice missing signatures, wrong dates, and incomplete files.
- Strong organization skills and the ability to juggle many open items at once.
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
- Comfortable working with a remote team and giving clear direction and feedback.
- Calm under pressure, with a sense of urgency around deadlines.
- Tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems — excited to work alongside AI and automation.
- Reliable, accountable, and eager to grow.
Compensation:
This role offers a salary of $70,000-$80,000, depending on experience and qualifications, along with a competitive benefits package and equity.
