People Operations
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and passionate People Operations Specialist to join our growing People team. This is a key role for someone who has already worked in HR or People Ops for at least 3 years, and is ready to take ownership of a wide range of responsibilities — from recruitment and employee experience to office operations and culture-building. You’ll work under our Director of People to support our US team, with a strong focus on our New York office.
What You’ll Do
- You’ll play a key role in building a workplace where people feel supported, seen, and empowered to grow. From the first interview to team celebrations, your work will shape the day-to-day experience of our team in a way that’s thoughtful, human, and deeply impactful.
- Own and manage the full employee lifecycle for the NY office: recruitment, onboarding, performance management.
- Be the main point of contact for employee questions on HR policies, benefits, and workplace concerns — always with empathy, discretion, and professionalism.
- Partner with managers to identify hiring needs, define roles, and lead recruitment efforts.
- Plan and lead wellness and engagement initiatives that support employee wellbeing and company culture.
- Organize and manage internal events, team gatherings, and celebrations for US-based employees.
- Handle all aspects of office operations and administration — from managing vendors and supplies to day-to-day logistics and creating a smooth, well-organized, and welcoming work environment. This is a hands-on, independent role for someone who enjoys taking ownership and making things run seamlessly.
- Support the Director of People and CEO on broader People-related initiatives and special projects.
About You
- You bring 3+ years of experience in office operations, administration, or People Ops roles.
- You’re confident, organized, and proactive — you don’t wait to be told what to do.
- You care deeply about creating a great workplace experience for your teammates.
- You’re an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a high level of emotional intelligence.
- You know how to balance empathy with problem-solving, and you handle sensitive issues with care and discretion.
- You’re highly organized, detail-oriented, and can juggle multiple priorities with ease.
- You’re a self-starter who enjoys taking initiative and ownership.
- You see your future in People Operations — and as the company grows, you’re excited to grow with it, take on more ownership, and help build a strong team and culture.
