As a Junior HR Generalist, you will play a crucial role in our People ops team, working closely with the Director of People and assisting in various HR functions, office administration tasks, and recruitment processes.
Responsibilities
- Work on employee events and engagement initiatives for our NY employees.
- Conduct new hire orientations and assist with new hire onboarding and process for departing employees.
- Manage and track office maintenance.
- Support the Director of People and CEO with different projects.
- Support general office maintenance and external vendors.
- Learn and ramp-up to functions of technical recruitment.
Requirements:
- Advantage - previous experience working in welfare or community roles.
- Love connecting with people and have a proven ability to build relationships and bring warmth to all levels of the organization.
- Flexibility: Ability to wear many different hats (and switch them regularly).
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- You’re a self-learner who likes to take on the initiative.
- Positive energy focused on delivering execution.
- Creative mindset with energy to deliver new employee experiences and events.
