As an engineering manager, you’ll join to code and lead engineers in an empowered product squad. You’ll play a big part in architecting and developing Daisy’s building operating system and our applications stack and work with the team to plan, shape, and deliver impactful outcomes.

As a leader in the team, you are expected to work in one box with your product manager and lead designer and grow the engineers personally and professionally.



  • You are a natural people leader and want your professional career to develop on the EM ladder.
  • When leading your team, you understand the balance between craft, speed, and the bottom line.
  • You understand that strong technical managers must code as a native part of their role.
  • You’re a thoughtful problem solver - you see a problem, ensure you completely understand the context, and then work towards a clean solution.
  • You have strong product mastery: you put users at the center - you have empathy and patience to understand our users’ needs and expectations and the balance between product, sales, and operations.
  • You have experience cultivating engineering practices and processes—e.g., code review, incident management, continuous deployment—where they didn't exist or scale before.
  • You have 4+ years of experience working as a full-stack developer in a product-centric team.
  • You have led or managed engineering teams at startups before, particularly during periods of rapid growth and organizational change.
  • You hold a BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, or any related subject.
