Building Operations Manager

About us

We’re expanding at lightning speed, and we are looking for great people to join us. As a Building Operations Manager, you'll be part of a brand new and innovative type of property management team. You’ll oversee the overall maintenance and facilities of a real estate portfolio which includes communicating with onsite building teams daily through the Daisy operating system and prioritizing and executing the needs of the residents of our Daisy-run buildings.


Responsibilities

  • Manage vendor relationships for a portfolio of buildings
  • Scope and bid on all maintenance contracts
  • Process and oversee the lifecycle of operational work orders 
  • Manage onsite building teams 
  • Oversee building maintenance projects 
  • Implement and maintain an inventory management system for all portfolio assets
  • Communicate all day to day operations to relevant stakeholders
  • Coordinate and assist with access requirements for the project management team
  • Implement a preventative maintenance program
  • Responsible for repairs and maintenance of the common areas and building exteriors 



Qualifications

  •  2-4 years of experience in residential or commercial property management preferred
  • Experience leading an operational maintenance team
  • Excellent communication skills and a hospitality mindset
  • You are organized and self-sufficient and have a get things done approach
  •  You are a creative problem solver
  • You are a team player; you enjoy collaborating and working as part of a team
  • Comfortable with using and learning new software platforms including but not limited to building and facility management systems
